New for 2018! We are excited to present this14 karat gold split row ring with a stacked cluster of 4mm, 5mm, 4mm, and 7mm x 9mm bezel set faceted labradorite stones and ununiform bezel set polki diamonds. The rows taper together to a 7mm band in the back of the ring. This ring is available in whole sizes 6-10.
What are polki diamonds? Made famous by London jewelry designer, Jade Jagger, polki diamonds are one of the oldest forms of cut natural diamonds known to man. They originated in India dating back over 3,000 years, long before Western cutting was seen here. Many of the world's most famous diamonds were mined here, the Hope Diamond, Koh-i-Noor, Wittelsbach-Graff. Many times they are presented in their raw form with no polishing, so each one is unique to itself. They are very flattering to the wearer because they give off a much softer sparkle compared to the modern cuts.
Have a little piece of history and a great story to tell while presenting this ring as a gift or proposal.
