This Perfect Art Deco 3.3CT Asscher Cut Russian Lab Diamond Ring is quite a stunning ring. When I was first shown this in person, I was really impressed. Great cut, fire and overall strong design. Well done! Keep the wedding band simple.
The Asscher cut was originated in 1902. It is similar to the emerald cut except that they are square. (Technically, they are octagon in shape as all four corners are cropped. This is usually not noticed when they are mounted in a setting.) This cut features large step facets and a high crown that produce a brilliance unlike any other diamond shape. It an endless hallway of reflective mirrors.
